You will need to live in the Lake Victoria area. Accommodation is available for which rent will be payable. Also required to share regular rostered overtime on weekends at the lake and adjacent locks. It is essential to have a current motor driver’s licence, HR or HC truck licence and boat operator licence. Additional qualifi cations such as various mobile plant operator licences, crane licence, an OHS construction induction white card and certifi cates in chemical handling, chainsaw competency, dogging and fi rst aid along with mechanical knowledge will be highly regarded. Duties include participation in construction work and preventative, corrective and emergency maintenance of the Lake Victoria related infrastructure. The ideal person will have a background in construction and maintenance work, be a competent, responsible plant operator diligent in care and maintenance of equipment, be versatile with small machinery, power and hand tools and willing to comply with provided safe work procedures, instructions and guidelines.
